What happened to you on the way to becoming a parent? And after you became one?
The road to parenthood, and parenthood itself, can change us in ways no one prepares us for. Some of those changes are joyful. Others are painful, confusing, lonely, or invisible to everyone else.
Whether you’ve been navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum struggles, or the realities of raising children, your emotional experience matters just as much as the milestones everyone else sees.
You deserve a space where your experience is understood, your story is honored, and you no longer have to carry it alone.
What I Hold Sacred in This Work
This work is rooted in the belief that experiences tied to fertility challenges, pregnancy complications, grief connected to loss or the life you envisioned, and parenthood struggles no matter how they unfold are often lived quietly and carried privately. When these life experiences don’t fit the cultural narratives of how families are “supposed” to look or feel, it can become isolating in ways you never expected.
I value making space for what rarely gets named: ambivalence, grief that doesn’t follow a timeline, invisible labor, and the loneliness that can exist even in your most deeply wanted roles.
In our work together, you will never be judged, pressured, or asked to defend your experience. This is a space for emotional safety, permission to fall apart, and the support to piece it back together when you’re ready, at your own pace.

All Families Welcome
Families and relationships take many forms, and there is no single “right” way to become a parent, build a family, or navigate a partnership. I work with individuals and couples across a wide range of family structures, identities, and lived experiences.
This includes those navigating fertility treatment, adoption, donor conception, surrogacy, pregnancy loss, postpartum transitions, parenting stress, or raising children with support needs, as well as individuals and couples seeking support around relationship challenges, communication, or life transitions, whether the focus is parenting, partnership, or something else entirely.
My practice is affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families. All That Matters Therapy provides inclusive therapy for single parents by choice, nontraditional and blended families, and those whose experiences may not be easily visible or understood. Care is grounded in respect, nuance, and collaboration.
If you’ve ever felt like your experience doesn’t fit neatly anywhere, it fits here.
Hi, I’m Beth
My work is rooted in helping the unseen feel seen, heard, and supported. The world isn’t always trauma-informed, and it isn’t always able to see beyond its own assumptions. Here, you don’t have to fit into the conventional mold. You are free to be the unique, complex, imperfect and incredible human you are.
I work relationally and collaboratively, adapting to what feels most supportive to you in the moment. This work is meant to feel both meaningful and transformative.
Therapy is not a means to “fix” what feels broken, but a place to heal and recover as you are reminded you are not alone in this.
When words feel limiting, I may incorporate gentle experiential or creative elements to support experiences that are difficult to articulate. These approaches are always optional and guided by your comfort level.
I also offer Arts & Hearts Therapy for Kids, supporting children through anxiety, grief, and life transitions.
